Services
The providers at Northwest Health Urgent Care Centers are dedicated to providing urgent care for acute medical issues. The team of specially trained health professionals works together for accurate diagnosis and treatment of a range of urgent and immediate care issues, including:
- Treatment for minor wounds: We provide the application of sterile dressing, sutures, splints and bandages, as needed, to prevent infection and support proper healing from injury.
- Prescriptions: Specialists can prescribe necessary medications such as antibiotics to treat or prevent infections, anti-inflammatory drugs to alleviate swelling or pain relievers to ease discomfort.
- Topical treatments: For minor injuries such as burns, rashes, mild sunburn or other irritations, urgent care specialists can prescribe topical treatments such as creams or ointments.
- Evaluation and treatment of animal bites or insect stings: Specialists at Northwest Health Urgent Care are able to evaluate bites or stings for infection or allergic reaction and treat accordingly.
In addition, physicians are able to make referrals to specialists for further diagnostics or treatment for more complex cases.
