Porter CareEXPRESS clinics launch online check-in system

NORTHWEST INDIANA (November 15, 2016) – Porter’s CareEXPRESS urgent care clinics are turning your bedroom into your own private waiting room, with a new, convenient online check-in service. InQuicker is now available at PorterHealth.com for the three CareEXPRESS locations in Valparaiso, Chesterton and Portage.
“We are pleased to offer an extra bit of convenience for our patients who need to visit urgent care. InQuicker also can help minimize the spread of disease – especially now as flu season approaches – because individuals will be waiting less time inside a waiting room with other people,” said Joanna Nelson, director of CareEXPRESS.
The easy-online check-in system isn’t necessarily for appointments – CareEXPRESS is a walk-in service – but it allows patients to check in ahead of their visit so they can do the waiting at home. The service is available from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., seven days a week for the CareEXPRESS locations at 809 La Porte Ave., Valparaiso; 650 Dickinson Road, Chesterton; and 3630 Willowcreek Road, Portage.
Patients simply visit PorterHealth.com and click on InQuicker to begin the online check-in process for the location of their choice.
“We know our patients’ time is valuable, and when you’re sick, you just want to get in and out as soon as possible,” Nelson said. “We strive to keep wait times as short as possible, so we are very pleased to be able introduce this service that will allow our patients to continue whatever tasks they may be doing until they have to drive to the CareEXPRESS clinic.”
CareEXPRESS urgent care clinics provide all the medical services a typical family practice provider would, but are available for convenient appointments when you can’t get in to see your usual doctor. Colds, flu, fevers, rashes, bug bites, minor bumps and breaks, bruises, cuts, sprains, and strains are all typical ailments seen at CareEXPRESS. Those who may be experiencing an emergency should head to the closest emergency room instead.
