Fourth Annual Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive Will Support Community Services of Starke County
3/2/2026
Northwest Health – Starke is working to fight hunger in the community by collecting peanut butter to donate to Community Services of Starke County. The fourth annual Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive started on Feb. 9 and will continue through March 20.
Northwest Health – Starke collects peanut butter because it is one of the most high demand items for its high nutritional value and stable shelf life.
“Every year, the hospital makes it a priority to give back to our community, and Jars of Love is one of our favorite ways to show that we care,” said Mark Casanova, CEO, Northwest Health - Starke. “In Starke County, an estimated 12.4 % of residents experience hunger and don’t have access to enough food, which can contribute to poor health. The food pantry at Community Services of Starke County is working to address this issue and we are proud to support their efforts, one jar of peanut butter at a time.” This year, Northwest Health - Starke has a goal to collect 250 jars of peanut butter and other nut butters for the food pantry.
The community is invited to drop off jars of peanut butter, or other nut butters at Northwest Health – Starke hospital at 102 East Culver Road, Knox.
